Awesome smoked meats. Brisket was melt in the mouth tender. Pulled pork had a nice smoked flavor throughout without being too heavy. Mustard bbq sauce on the side. Fresh cut and fried fries. Slaw was pretty good. Beans were good as well. Owner and staff are friendly and made sure we were satisfied.
The Owner is a very kind and welcoming guy. The food was excellent. My mom is known to be particular about her food. But she raved about the ribs and the Mac & cheese from here. The Pulled BBQ chicken sandwich’s is a great choice. It didn’t stay on my plate for more than 4 minutes.
My husband and I were traveling for work and stopped by because we were driving through. It's a wonderful little place - the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. We both got the pulled pork sandwiches - they are absolutely amazing. I like the Carolina BBQ sauce on mine. The baked beans are savory and rich and the Mac and cheese has a little kick to it - but it's not too spicy. The coleslaw is fantastic - add it to your sandwich with the pickles. That's the way to do it. We will definitely be back!
The coleslaw is the best I’ve ever had! The meat is so juice and tender! I’ve found my new spot! The ribs were fresh off the smoker! Don’t miss out on this hidden gem!
Ace was our one-man waiter, cook, and entertainment. Found his little gem of a BBQ joint via the maps. We were just passing through. We had the pulled pork (sandwich) dinner, which came with 2 sides (we got the mac-and-cheese & baked beans). Everything was HOT and delicious! He gave us one of the sauces (swet & tangy). Super friendly and chatted with the folks dining in. It's a cozy little eatery. Feels like it's off the beaten path, but it's worth finding it!
My family was in the area so we decided to stop by. I personally got Brisket and Mac and Cheese as a side. It was very good. The rest of my family agreed as well. The service was also relatively fast for how big a group we were. Ace and his employee were very friendly and took pride in their food. 100% recommend!
Food was hot and fresh which me and my family loved. French fries were handcut. Ribs, chicken wings and pulled pork were all delicious. We had baked beans and macaroni & cheese for our sides. Loved the baked beans but macaroni & cheese needed some flavor to it but overall the food was very good. The owner came out to make sure we were satisfied with everything and was very courteous. Will definitely be back again next time we visit PA.
Ace is an amazing guy with a beautiful personality and a big heart. He takes the time to go speak with his guests. His meals are absolutely delicious! Ace is also a harvest host and lets you stay overnight in his parking lot in your RV at no extra charge. A beautiful person, good cook and an amazing host. Thank you Ace!
